QSCCB Participates in “Flower Each Spring” Program

 

36 members and volunteers of Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Blind have participated in the Program “Flower Each Spring”, held in Ras Matbakh Area.

 

They received information about the Flower of this year which is Al Harm, Zygophyllum Qatarense, and its main characteristics, benefits, seasons, and the way it is planted. Then they had a tour around the area and visited Insect Section where they received information about the insects, its types and shapes. They've also received information about the Waste Recycling Program and the proper usage of containers. After that, a cultural contest was held for all the visiting groups and QSCCB won the contest.

 

Finally, QSCCB members sang, read poems and had entertaining contests.
